GB-FC4020 5AXIS
GREEN BUILDING MACHINERY
1. Split-Type Dual Cutting Heads & Five-Axis System
Independent Operation Mode: The left and right cutting heads can work completely independently, allowing for the simultaneous cutting of two identical or different workpieces, significantly boosting production efficiency.
Collaborative Operation Mode: The two cutting heads can also work in unison to complete a single large workpiece, ensuring processing consistency.
Central Rotary Axis (A/C or B/C Axis): The machine is equipped with a high-performance rotary axis at its center. Combined with the cutting heads' own tilting and movement, this creates a genuine five-axis system. This enables the tool to approach the workpiece from any angle, easily facilitating the creation of complex 3D reliefs, dimensional letters, artistic sculptures, and complex curved surfaces.
2. Infinitely Adjustable Cutting Width
The left and right cutting heads can be driven via the CNC system to move flexibly along the base, quickly adjusting the distance between them.
This design allows the machine to easily adapt to foam raw materials of different sizes. It can cut workpieces of various widths without changing components, offering exceptional processing adaptability and material utilization.
3. Cylinder-Driven Cutting Wire Tensioning System
The cutting heads are integrated with high-performance air cylinders for tightening the cutting wire (typically a hot wire).
Key Advantages:
Rapid Tightening: A single operation ensures quick and high-tension wire setup.
Constant Tension Control: During cutting, the cylinder provides consistent tension, compensating for thermal expansion and contraction of the wire. This ensures straight cuts and consistent accuracy throughout the process, preventing waviness or dimensional errors.
Extended Wire Life: Stable tension helps reduce the risk of wire breakage.
4. 90° Rotatable Wire Holder (Multi-Directional Cutting)
The machine's wire holder features a unique rotation mechanism, allowing 90° flexible positioning.
Vertical Wire Setup (Default Mode): In this state, the cutting wire is positioned vertically, similar to a vertical band saw. This is ideal for efficient panel cutting, slicing, or 2D contour cutting.
Horizontal Wire Setup (After 90° Rotation): Rotating the holder 90 degrees positions the wire horizontally. This mode is essential for 3D shaping cutting. Combined with the rotary axis, it allows the wire to perform "contour-parallel" cutting around the workpiece, creating smooth, continuous 3D surfaces.
Core Application Summary
3D Shaping: Utilizing five-axis and horizontal wire setup to produce architectural decor, scale models, film props, art reproductions, and foam molds.
Efficient Panel Cutting: Using vertical wire setup to quickly cut large foam blocks into required 2D shapes, thicknesses, or profiles, commonly used for packaging molds and insulation material processing.
High-Volume Production: Leveraging split cutting heads to process multiple workpieces simultaneously, ideal for large orders with uniform specifications.
Oversized Workpiece Handling: Utilizing adjustable width and collaborative cutting to handle extra-large foam workpieces.
In summary, through its modular and intelligent design, this machine achieves a perfect combination of functionality and efficiency, making it an ideal solution for complex and high-volume production in the foam processing industry.
