The GB-OTDJ400 is a fully automatic edge milling machine specifically designed for the efficient and precise removal of edge trimmings from foam boards (such as EPS, XPS, EPP, etc.) on all four sides. It revolutionizes traditional manual or semi-automatic edge trimming methods. Simply place the entire board onto the feeding mechanism, and the machine automatically handles all subsequent processes, significantly enhancing production efficiency and processing consistency.
Main Frame: Constructed using high-strength structural sections (like rectangular steel tubes or channel beams) welded with professional techniques, ensuring overall rigidity and load-bearing capacity. Critical areas undergo stress-relieving treatment to effectively prevent deformation during long-term use.
Specialized Connection Technology: Employs precision locating pins, high-strength locking collars, or modular quick-assembly designs instead of simple bolting. This ensures the solidity and long-term precision of component connections, while also facilitating transportation, installation, and future maintenance.
Integrated Conveyance & Clamping System: The machine features multiple (typically 4 or more, corresponding to the four sides of the board) independent conveying and pressing wheel frames. These frames typically consist of:
Drive Wheels: Powered by servo motors or inverter-controlled motors, allowing adjustable and well-synchronized speed for precise board feed control.
Pressure Wheels/Mechanisms: Utilize pneumatic cylinders, springs, or servo pressure control to provide adjustable and uniform clamping force. This ensures the board does not shift, bounce, or deform during cutting, crucial especially for soft foams. Pressure wheels often have an elastic surface coating (e.g., polyurethane) to protect the board surface.
Load-and-Go" Operation: Operators need only place a single foam board flat onto the starting position of the feeding rack (often equipped with rollers or conveyor belts for assisted positioning). Upon start-up, the machine automatically performs.
Seamless Continuous Production: For boards of identical size and specification, the operator can place the next board onto the feeding rack while the machine is processing the current one. Once the current board is finished and ejected, the equipment automatically grips and begins processing the next board, enabling true continuous, uninterrupted production-line operation. This maximizes equipment utilization and minimizes manual intervention time.
